A GOOD THING FOR GOLFERS...
“It doesn't snow on Cape Cod.” That's the old adage, right? Well, relative to a lot of places in New England this is entirely true. For instance, the Cape rarely surpasses the seasonal snowfall totals of western and northern New England. Climatology tells us that here in southern New England the City of Boston out-snows the Cape nearly 2 to 1 and Worcester nearly 3 to 1 (based on average annual snowfall totals provided by the National Weather Service).
