May 19th - American Diabetes Association 3rd Annual Luis Tiant Swing for Diabetes Golf Tour will host the 3rd Annual Luis Tiant Swing for Diabetes Golf Tournament, which will be held at the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy. Shotgun start for the scramble format tournament begins at 1:00pm followed by a cocktail reception ceremony for Luis Tiant, former Red Sox pitching legend. Several past and present sports celebrities and legends will be on the fairway with Luis Tiant to "chip" in for the fight against diabetes. Come out and support Luis Tiant for this great event. May 19th - Barnstable High School is holding a tourney May 19 at Hyannis Golf Club to benefit the music department. Entry fee is $75 for the 1 p.m. shotgun start. Sponsors are also being sought. June 9 - CCSO will be hosting the first annual Golf Classic benefit. The event will be held Monday, June 9, 2008 (rain date: June 23) at Ocean Edge, Brewster, MA. The Symphony is inviting the community to Play Fore Music. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra which is dedicated to enriching and furthering the cultural, educational and economic interests of the Cape Cod community. June 12 - Falmouth Chamber 19th Annual Invitational Golf Tournament
Falmouth Country Club Registration begins at 10:30AM with a Noon shotgun start.
The tournament will feature a Longest Drive Contest, Closest to the Pin Contest and a Putting Contest, not to mention a hole that players must play left handed!
